Ground pork & tomato soup

For the day when you just want some soup – thick, fresh tomato soup with ground pork and pasta.

To make a pot of soup that is enough for a family of four, two adults and two children, you will need:

  • About 300-400 ml. chopped tomatoes without skin
  • A large carrot
  • Half of small red pepper
  • Small head of onion
  • 150 gr. ground pork (or beef)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • A good handful of your favorite pasta
  • 750 ml. lightly salted broth
  • 20 g. butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of ground allspice


  • Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the grated garlic cloves, mix and fry for a few seconds
  • Add ground pork. Sprinkle with salt, ground allspice, mix, fry briefly
  • Add chopped onion and red pepper, mix and fry briefly
  • Add carrot grated with a beet grater, mix and fry briefly
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, stir and cover the pot with a lid and simmer for a few minutes
  • Pour in lightly salted broth, stir, heat until boiling
  • After boiling, add the pasta and cook for a few more minutes
