This recipe is a little different. Why?.. Well, once I started preparing the dish, I noticed that the honey had been eaten already, so I decided to replace it with sugar. And I can say that it was really very tasty.
To make a meal that is enough for a family of four, two adults and two children, you will need:
- 2 large pieces of chicken breast fillet
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- Favorite spices to taste
- 2 tablespoons of potato starch
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- Half a teaspoon of baking powder
- Oil for frying
For the sauce:
- 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- Juice of half a lemon
- Half tablespoon of potato starch
- 100 ml. water
- 1-2 handfuls of peas
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic
- A little oil
First, prepare the chicken:
- Cut the chicken fillet into bite-sized strips
- Put it in a bowl, add soy sauce, add two grated cloves of garlic, add your favorite chicken spices or just salt, add an egg and mix
- Add flour, starch, baking powder and mix well
- Heat oil in a pan, add chicken pieces, fry them for 4-5 minutes on both sides
- Postpone. (It is best to fry several times, without adding too many chicken pieces to the pan, it is important that they do not touch each other)
Then, prepare the sauce:
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add grated garlic cloves, fry briefly
- Add sugar, mix and fry briefly
- Pour potato starch dissolved in water
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly
- Add tomato sauce, add soy sauce, squeeze lemon juice and mix well
- Pour in the peas, mix, heat a little, add pieces of fried chicken, mix and heat for a while
